I'm not fine.I'm not okay, got it?
I can hear you callin' my name
With the hardest of hearts
I still feel full of pain
So I drink and I smoke
And I ask If you're ever around
Even though it was me
Who drove us right in the ground.."

Now f**k the hell off.
I am addicted to this site www.seaofshoes.typepad.com. It's by a 16 year old fashionista living in Texas with the most envy-worthy closet ever. Her name's Jane Aldridge. Plus her mom is like Lily Van der Woodsen only better and much much more real. Jane is the real deal. Plus, she knows her stuff. Her style's quirky, classy and very much her own. Her shoe closet, take note, is to die for.

Unfortunately for us living here in third-world conditions, pulling off clothes like her's would be a problem. One, it is way to hot here! I should be living off another continent, one with 4 seasons. Two, people would stare at you, not that i care what they think, but it would be weird riding the lrt, or strolling the mall, or in school. Third, my feet will die walking in those 6-inch heels. Flats are the ones for me though. hahahaha. Nuff said, check out the blog instead.

Like my usual habit of posting my sched here for my blog, i shall do so on the eve of the first day of the last sem in Ateneo.

Looking at my second sem schedule, I noticed that I actually have it light this sem. I have okay majors with okay profs, then A-able classes for reaching the d.l.-level qpi (naah, i'd rather enjoy the time i have left in school by juggling both acads and social life). I have 3 classes with Gelo, and 3 classes with Bea and Qute, same with Tim, so nonetheless, I'd have someone to chatter with during the boring moments of class. I opted for the usual 4 hour and 30 minute breaks than to wake up overly early during MWF. Same shizz, different izzles.
Looking back on the past three years, college life has been the most eventful phase in my life (aside from the developmental stages though). Moreover, the past 2 years have been the most life-changing so far. This past year however, has the most exciting events, right Bea and Gelo? No, I don't think Bea that you're really unlucky. Honestly, unlike some people would think. I just think she's blessed with many life-altering events that would be necessary to form her personality. :) Kung walang cat incidents, car issues, catfights and brofights, joyrides and surprise roadtrips, spontaneous gimmicks, edi hindi exciting ang nangyayari satin, Bea. Hahaha. I need not specify those. Nakakahiya din for us hahahaha. Thank you for making it eventful and exciting. It's only the beginning. Next stop natin, Timbuktu or Andes?! Hahaha. For that much needed soul-searching on what to do next. After grad, what now? Dayum.
After 3 years and 1 sem of college life, from being mere scum freshmen to goodbye goodbye seniors, you have to think about the progress, and the changesthat are happening within oneself. I thus leave you to listen to the song.. "Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up, these are the best days of our lives..." In this diary by The Ataris oldschool, just because i'm nostalgic.
"Get on the bus, it's time to go.."

[Sometimes no matter how carefully you plan your playlist, there is no right track for what awaits you.]
After weeks and weeks of never-ending deadlines and mind-boggling exams, I spent my Saturday afternoon with my favorite people in the world, (Bea, Gelo, Nissy, Qute, Dy) *others: nasan kayo?
We all met at Katipunan, despite the heinous traffic galore due to the ACET. Then off to my house. Cooked my linguine with bacon and sundried tomatoes in cream sauce and fudge brownies with truffles. (Hope they loved it as much as I loved cooking it for them).
Watched the movie, Definitely maybe. Cried, smitten, hook, line and sinker. It was not like your typical cheese fest chick flick movie, though I must warn you, it makes you hung up till the credits roll over. I honestly cried despite my restraint from bawling my eyes out and having a runny nose.
So I must share some noteworthy lines from the movie. Laugh trip I swear.
[from trailer]
Will Hayes: I had two serious girlfriends... and then some other smattering of other women.
Maya Hayes: What's the boy word for 'slut'?
Will Hayes: They still haven't come up with one yet.
----> why is that only girls are sluts anyway? guys are bigger sluts :))
Maya Hayes: What's a threesome?
Will Hayes: It's a game, that adults play sometimes... When they're bored.
Maya Hayes: ...Whatever.
--->HAHAHA!!!!
April: You and me, it'd kinda be like cats and dogs.
Will Hayes: Oil and water.
April: Sand paper and bare ass.
Will Hayes: That's gross.
----> This one goes out to Bea and I's very special project: ahem ahem nissy.... hahaha! Pero nis, ikaw yung sand paper???:))
Maya Hayes: Dad, I can't believe you drank... and smoked... and was such a slut... But I still love you.
---> what will you reply if your future kid told you this line??:p hahaha
Will Hayes: [rehearsing his proposal] Here...I wanna marry you because you're the first person that I wanna look at when i wake up in the morning and the only one I wanna kiss goodnight, because...the first time that i saw these hands i couldn't imagine not being able to hold them but mainly when you love someone as much as i love you
[pause]
Will Hayes: getting married is the only thing left to do, so... will you... hum...
[pause]
Will Hayes: marry me?
April: Definitely, maybe... i have to think about it. ---> I will so marry the guy who will tell me these lines. *swoon*
Maya Hayes: I'm guessing you weren't her first boyfriend. Maybe it was some nerdy guy, or maybe he was mean. Or maybe, you were friends for the longest time, and then just when you were about to put your penis in somebody else's vagina...
Will Hayes: Okay. Good night Maya.
Maya Hayes: ...you realized Mom was the only one for you!
Will Hayes: Bedtime!
----> Bata ka pa lang, bastos ka na!! :p Qute, kaw ata to. XD
Summer Hartley: Dumped me for a sophomore. Told me it was for my own good.
Will Hayes: Everybody seems to be using that line these days.---->Sophomore boys are hot!! :p
[Maya and Sarah are walking away, Maya turns around]
Maya Hayes: Dad!
[Will turns around, Maya runs to him, Will kneels]
Maya Hayes: Thanks for telling me the story.
Will Hayes: You're welcome. I didn't tell you the happy ending.
Maya Hayes: [getting tears] What is it?
Will Hayes: You.
--->OMG! <3
Again, I would like to thank Bea, Nissy, Qute and Dy for making my day complete, no matter how much work we all have for next week. I love you guys. This was a very much well-deserved break. Next time 10 Things I Hate About You naman, Bea's life story :)) And Gelo, we missed you! Hope you're all better now. :)

The answer by one student was so 'profound' that the professor shared it with colleagues, via the Internet, which is, of course, why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well:
Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?
Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant.
One student, however, wrote the following:
First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today.
Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added.
This gives two possibilities:
1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.
2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.
So which is it?
If we accept the postulate given to me by a certain girl during my Freshman year that, 'It will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you,' and take into account the fact that I slept with the very same girl last night, then number two must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over. The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is therefore, extinct..... .leaving only Heaven, thereby proving the existence of a divine being which explains why, last night, she kept shouting 'Oh my God.'
THIS STUDENT RECEIVED AN A+.

This morning, after watching a film called "Stir of Echoes" for my Horror Film class, a murmur of people talking about receiving the same text message saying a student committed suicide at the Philo dept. Talk about real life horror happening in our own campus. Steph even said, "The movie's not yet over." HAHA. But it scared the living crap out of me. I never thought that such a thing could happen, even if it wouldn't be impossible, having such pressures and expectations being in our school. Plus we saw the Dela Costa building as soon as we left the COM studio. I can vividly remember the gathering of the different Philo professors outside the building, plus another person crying. A number of cars just outside Dela Costa, something not possible during class hours. A real life horror scene, I must say.
As natural law would have it, rumors regarding the incident had spread like wildfire. The whole school is talking about it, some details too bizarre for real life. Student daw, then next a Teaching Assistant. He committed suicide, or had a heart attack early early that morning. Then another version of the story said that he wanted to burn the Philo department.
I say let's just wait for the official announcement. In the meantime, let's pray for his soul. Yes, it was confirmed, he was a man, Father David's teaching assistant, who taught at Miguel's class just a few days ago. Let's also pray for his family, for the loved ones he left behind, and also for the building not to be haunted.
I never thought this would happen in my school. What a way to start the week.
